 Frequently Asked Questions
What waste can go in these bags?+

Use these bags for cytotoxic waste only, including chemotherapy medication vials, contaminated PPE, preparation waste, empty drug containers, and items exposed to chemotherapy agents. Do not use for anatomical waste or general clinical waste.

Can I reopen and reseal the bag?+

Yes. The ziplock closure allows multiple openings and closures during a shift. This is useful when adding items gradually throughout procedures or when verifying contents before final disposal.

 Are these bags puncture resistant?+

The LDPE construction provides good puncture resistance for most sharps and broken glass. However, always place sharps in approved sharps containers first, then place the sealed sharps container inside the ziplock bag for transport.

How should I dispose of full bags?+

Seal the ziplock closure, then place bags in your facility's main cytotoxic waste container for contractor collection. Follow your facility's cytotoxic waste disposal protocols and never mix with general clinical waste streams.

What is your lead time for orders?+

We dispatch from our Sydney warehouse within 1-2 business days for in-stock items. Most NSW orders arrive within 2-3 business days. Contact us for volume orders or specific delivery requirements.
