A wicketed bag is held on a metal wire wicket with other bags in a stack. The wicket holds each bag open for loaf insertion on semi-automated or automated bread packaging lines. After the loaf is inserted, the bag is removed from the wicket and sealed.

The 450 x 295mm + 100 mm gusset suits standard loaves up to approximately 430 mm long with a cross-section of up to 295 mm wide and 100 mm deep. This matches the most common Australian sandwich loaf format.

This bag is 40 mm wider, making it better suited to standard-width sandwich loaves. The 450 x 255mm bag is for narrower loaf formats with a smaller cross-section.
