Reduce your waste disposal costs

Eliminate contact with hazardous waste

Reduce your impact on the environment

Simplify your packaging ordering

Keep cytotoxic waste contained at the treatment bay. This 36 litre heavy duty bag is the right size for day oncology chairs, infusion bays, and outpatient chemotherapy settings where waste bins are smaller but loads can include heavy items like IV bags, sharps containers, and contaminated PPE. Heavy duty LDPE at 700 x 550 mm resists punctures and tears from these mixed waste loads.

Purple colouring and "Cytotoxic Waste" printing ensure correct identification from the infusion chair through to specialist contractor disposal. The mid-size format suits frequent bag changes in active treatment areas.

 Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose heavy duty LDPE for cytotoxic waste?+

Cytotoxic waste often includes sharps containers, heavy IV bags, and rigid packaging that can puncture standard bags. Heavy duty LDPE has thicker film and superior puncture resistance to handle these loads safely.

What waste goes in a cytotoxic waste bag?+

Cytotoxic bags collect chemotherapy drugs, contaminated PPE, IV lines, syringes, and any materials that have contacted cytotoxic agents. Never mix with general clinical or anatomical waste.

How should I seal the bag before moving it?+

Tie the open top securely using a gooseneck twist or cable ties. Fill to no more than three-quarters capacity to allow safe closure and easy handling by staff and waste contractors.

What is your lead time for orders?+

We dispatch from our Sydney warehouse within 1-2 business days for in-stock items. Most NSW orders arrive within 2-3 business days.

Do you supply a larger cytotoxic waste bag?+

Yes. The 73L HDPE cytotoxic bag is available for oncology ward collection bins and central staging areas. View the full range in our cytotoxic waste bags collection.
