Frequently Asked Questions
What waste goes in an anatomical waste bag?+

Anatomical waste bags are used for human tissue, organs, body parts, and blood products generated during surgical procedures. They are not suitable for cytotoxic waste or general clinical waste.

Why choose LDPE heavy duty over standard bags?+

Heavy duty LDPE has thicker film and superior puncture resistance. It's better suited to large, heavy, or sharp-edged anatomical waste loads where standard bags may fail.

How should I seal the bag before collection?+

Tie the open top using a gooseneck twist or cable ties before moving to collection areas. Fill bags to no more than three-quarters capacity to allow safe closure and handling.

What is your lead time for orders?+

We dispatch from our Sydney warehouse within 1-2 business days for in-stock items. Most NSW orders arrive within 2-3 business days.

Do you supply other sizes of anatomical waste bags?+

Yes. We supply an 18 litre anatomical waste bag for point-of-care and treatment room use. View the full range in our anatomical waste bags collection.
