Modern Slavery Statement

Zeropac is committed to ensuring modern slavery does not exist in any part of our business or supply chain. This statement is made in accordance with the Commonwealth Modern Slavery Act 2018 and the NSW Modern Slavery Act 2018.

We source packaging and foodservice products from manufacturing partners in Malaysia, Vietnam, and China. We recognise that these regions carry varying levels of modern slavery risk and we take active steps to identify, assess, and address those risks.

Our Supply Chain

Zeropac operates as a distributor. We do not manufacture products ourselves. Our direct manufacturing partners are established, reputable factories in Malaysia, Vietnam, and China. All suppliers operate formal manufacturing facilities and several hold ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. We maintain direct relationships with factory management, enabling ongoing dialogue about labour practices and working conditions.

What We Do

  • Conduct risk assessments of all direct manufacturing partners based on country, industry, and supplier profile
  • Include modern slavery clauses in all supplier agreements
  • Review supplier certifications, labour policies, and workplace safety documentation
  • Require suppliers to confirm no use of forced labour, child labour, or debt bondage
  • Train all staff on modern slavery awareness and reporting obligations
  • Monitor media and government reports for modern slavery risks in supplier countries

Our Ongoing Commitments

  • Develop a formal Supplier Code of Conduct with specific modern slavery provisions
  • Implement supplier self-assessment questionnaires covering labour practices and working conditions
  • Explore membership of SEDEX or equivalent supply chain transparency platform
  • Conduct site visits to key manufacturing partners where feasible
